Niendorf
Two Long-eared Owls are living in a tree in our backyard. During a storm today, the nocturnal birds obviously couldn't find any sleep and kept looking at me standing under the tree, which made it possible to take some good pictures of them.
It's interesting to see so much more or less unusual fauna around our home, with the airport being just a few hundred meters away. In addition to the owls, we also got herons, bats and Common Pheasants in our area.
